Some cyclists were out on a trail in Sao Paulo, Brazil, when their dogs stopped to get a drink from the nearby river. It was then that an anaconda jumped out of the water and grabbed ahold of one of the dogs and dragged it back into the river.
The other dogs began barking, and the dog’s owner came running.
He said, “When I heard their screams, I ran to see what was happening. When I saw him, he was wrapped completely and sank into the water. Immediately, I jumped into the water, and with the grace of God, I managed to find them underwater, and pulled them out of the water.”
In the tense and sometimes scary video, you can see how the group of friends came together to not only save the dog but not harm the anaconda as they fought it off to release it back into the wild. The dog only ended up suffering a non-venomous bite and would be fine. Wow!
