Animal Aid Unlimited arrived on scene to help a dog who’d been stuck in a drum of hot tar for several days. They think she may have crawled inside the barrel to keep warm during the night, but her body had sunk into the tar glueing her to the metal casing. The poor girl couldn’t move and was so scared that she was hyperventilating.
Rescuers cut the barrel open and rushed the stray back to the hospital while still in the drum. They immediately applied vegetable oil to help soften and loosen the tar. They then spent three hours removing the tar from her fur before she could stand on her own. But wait until you see how beautiful Asha is today! 🙂
