Kellar may be blind, but he doesn’t allow that to stop him from living the life of a normal dog. The three-year-old English Springer Spaniel was born completely blind, so he’s always found other ways to do things, and it’s pretty unbelievable that he can play fetch.
In the video below, Mom shows exactly how it’s done. She uses commands such as, “You ready? Gonna listen?” to get things started. And once she tosses the ball, she says “hot,” “cold,” and “warmer” to let Kellar know if he’s getting close to finding it or not. The good boy then brings the ball all the way back while listening to his mom’s voice. Just incredible!
