Police Perform Random Traffic Stop, Get Handed A Pup The Couple Doesn’t Want

Police officers were performing random traffic stops in Windsor, England, when they came across something they never expected. They pulled over one particular car and saw a couple holding a tiny puppy. After a few minutes, they said they no longer wanted the puppy and handed him over to the cops.

The couple had just gotten the pup that day, and he was far too young to be away from his mother. How lucky that this was one of the random vehicles pulled over by the police. Who knows what would’ve happened to the poor little guy. The officers didn’t hesitate to take the pup in, and after a few hours he was transferred to Battersea Dogs & Cats Home for care.

Staff at the shelter named the pup Buddy. He was only six weeks old at the time but completely healthy despite the rough start to his life. They quickly fell in love with him and kept him safe until he was old enough to find a forever home — and that he did!

As soon as he was ready to be adopted, a loving family took Buddy in! He’s doing well in his new home and loving every minute of his new life.

What a happy outcome for Buddy after such an uncertain beginning. We’ll never know exactly what that couple’s intentions were with Buddy that day, but we’re so happy the police happened to pull them over and take Buddy in. Now he’s living his best life! 🙂
