Senior Dog Found Treading Water Kisses Rescuers When Pulled Aboard The Boat

The U.S. Coast Guard Station of Fort Myers Beach received an alert about a senior dog all alone in the middle of the sea. The old dog had been out there for who knows how long and in great distress, so they set sail for rescue.

They pulled the boat as close as possible and called for the dog, and he eventually came swimming up to the side where they could grab him. Crew members pulled the good boy aboard, and he kissed his rescuers to thank them for saving his life! 🙂

They took a photo with the dog and proceeded to sail back to shore to reunite him with his family. The dog was unharmed, and this could’ve ended badly. But thanks to the Coast Guard, he’s safe and sound!
