A woman at the Winn Dixie in Metairie was in the parking lot when she noticed a taped box moving. She looked and couldn’t believe it when she saw a tiny dog still wearing a shock collar inside. It was obvious the poor thing was intentionally placed there and left behind.
Rusty was taken to the Metairie Humane Shelter a few blocks away. He was timid around humans and pretty matted up. But it wasn’t long before he started to trust the staff!
The good boy would be put up for adoption within a few weeks and eventually go on to find his loving forever home where he will never have to worry about being abandoned again! 🙂
