There’s nothing like the day a neglected dog is pulled from its life of misery and taken to a place where it can feel safe. Dogs are extremely intelligent and can tell when it’s all about to change for them. In the video below, an abused and neglected pup was just taken from his life on a chain, and he reacts in the sweetest way.
The grateful dog can sense this is his freedom ride, and he thanks his rescuer by burying his face in her arm and then gently placing his paw over her hand. The rescuer is so moved by it all that she can’t fight back the tears. The entire thing is just so heart-melting to see. We’re so glad this dog is now safe and sound for the rest of his life.
