Santa Fe police have issued a statement looking for information on a person suspected of dumping his dog at the Dunkin’ Donuts on Cerrillos Road. Surveillance footage shows a man driving up in a dark colored Chevy van, getting out and going into the Dunkin’ Donuts, and then leaving behind a dog with a note attached to her collar.
The man pulled up to the Dunkin’ Donuts in New Mexico and got out of the vehicle with his dog.
“The male opened his door and let the dog out of the vehicle with the note attached to its neck,” Santa Fe police said.
“The man then proceeded to go into Dunkin’ Donuts and order a cup of coffee.”
“The dog followed the man from the vehicle to the front door of the business but was ignored by the man.”
The man drove away leaving the dog behind with only this note.
But the dog found herself in good hands before eventually getting that forever home! 🙂
