Milly the 2-year-old chocolate Lab went into labor and gave birth to a healthy litter consisting of 4 boys and 1 girl. But it wasn’t just the gender that set the girl pup apart; the little girl came into the world as green as can be!
Little Fifi’s green fur is all natural, believe it or not. Experts say it’s rare but can happen when light-colored puppies come into contact with a substance called Biliverdin found in the placenta. The color will fade with time, but the attention Fifi received because of it has been something else! 🙂
