There’s nothing more heartwarming than a bunch of people coming together to help an animal in need, and the video below shows some of that teamwork being put to the best use yet. One dog found himself in a scary situation, but some brave police officers showed up to help out.
The poor pup had fallen into the open sewer and was seen struggling to stay afloat and get out. But thankfully, help wasn’t far away. The officers arrived on scene and had to get creative in order to rescue the dog in distress.
They locked hands to form a long human chain and carefully lowered down until the man on the very end could reach the dog. He grabbed onto the scared pooch to get him out of the water, and the officers pulled each other up to the solid, flat ground. Amazing work!
