Hope For Paws received an urgent message about a homeless dog who’d been hit by a car. The stray was found hiding under a vehicle, so rescuers surrounded it with the fencing upon arrival. They had to be careful and try not to spook him with his injury and all. But he was in pain and very afraid…
After a few stressful moments, Lenny was in their possession. The dog was still shaking, but little did he know his new life was just beginning! They got him to the animal hospital right away where they were able to save his leg! Lenny’s emotional treatment would be as important as his physical rehabilitation as he moved onto a foster home and started this second chance. 🙂
