Animal Aid Unlimited showed up to try to save a stray dog who was dying in the road. When they got closer, they realized the side of the poor boy’s head was being eaten away by maggots. He raised his head for rescuers showing he had some life left in him.
They transported the dog back to the hospital and immediately applied medicine to kill the maggots. After a few hours, the maggots died off and the pup was ready to be sedated so they could properly clean the wound. His ear was completely destroyed, but by day three he was stronger and showing real progress!
This dog was found wounded and broken, and he surely would’ve died in the street there alone. But the old boy had so much more life to live. Wait until you see Major Sahib now! 🙂
