Animal Aid was alerted to a stray dog staggering and wobbling through traffic, and they arrived just in time to rescue the poor boy before he collapsed right there in the road. That’s when they noticed some maggot-infested wounds, so they rushed him back to the hospital.
Staff sedated him and cleaned up the deep wound on his neck and one by his ear. With treatment and medication, the sweet boy would make a full recovery. It was only a matter of time before this wounded stray would’ve collapsed in traffic, and he wouldn’t have lasted much longer from there.
