Depressed Dog Only Sat In Corner Of The Shelter — Until A Little Boy Showed Up

Nala the pit bull was rescued from the streets of New Zealand and taken to the shelter. The dog was terrified and depressed and wouldn’t leave her corner. The shelter’s owner, Abbie Van Der Plax, tried sitting with her to gain her trust but to no avail.

But it all changed when the woman decided to bring her 7-year-old son, Zach, to the shelter. As soon as Nala saw the little boy, she perked up and headed over to greet him. She was instantly a completely different dog!

It’s suspected that the dog came from a place where she had a kid in her life who made her feel safe. It’s incredible how it all made such a difference for this sweet dog.
