Nelly was dumped because she was deemed “too ugly” to be adopted. But it turns out those people had no idea what they were talking about. Sidewalk Specials stepped up and brought the dog to Cape Town to try to get her life on track.
For a little while, no offers came in for the dog. But after her story was shared online, it happened! Just a few weeks later, the unadoptable became adoptable! 🙂
Now named Lilly, the sweet girl has found a place to call her own. Her forever home is on a farm with lots of other animals and some dog friends! She spent her whole life fighting to survive, and now she can relax knowing she’s safe and loved.
