Sweet Dog Demands To Be Tucked In Every Night At The Shelter

There’s a dog at the Mohawk Hudson Humane Society named Prince, and he insists on the royal treatment. He just can’t sleep right unless he’s tucked in to bed every night by the shelter staff! The two-year-old pit bull came to the shelter five months ago scared and curled up in the back of his kennel.

The dog slipped through his collar and ran away from home, and they hoped the owner would come forward to claim him. But no one ever did. Prince slowly came out of his shell as the staff was very patient and showed him lots of love.

Prince is very friendly and has scored very high marks on his obedience training. But at bedtime, the dog has his humans trained to tuck him in for a good night’s sleep. Prince will even roll over and ask for belly rubs! 🙂

The staff loves Prince and is more than willing to give in to his sweet demands every night, but they hope he finds his forever home sooner rather than later. You can fill out an application on the Mohawk Hudson Humane Society‘s website if you’re interested in adopting him.
