Animal Aid Unlimited received word of a stray dog with a severe burn who needed help. The dog was very sweet despite her pain and allowed rescuers to do what they had to do to save her. They took her back to the hospital to get to work on her right away.
The burn appeared to be from some sort of hot water accident and would require extensive treatment. The dog was sedated so they could thoroughly care for and clean the wounds. It would take months for her skin to heal.
The dog was so cooperative and ate her food and loved going on her daily walks! The brave and beautiful girl went through so much to get to where she is today, and it’s thanks to Animal Aid! See Sophia now. 🙂
