Spanky and Roman have been inseparable since the day they met, and they remain the best of friends to this day! Spanky has always looked up to Roman as the big brother that he is and is willing to do anything for him. So when Roman’s ear became infected and started to swell, Spanky had his back.
It was discovered that Roman had a hematoma on his ear and would need surgery to fix it. And as he waited for his operation, the ear got worse and Roman felt more and more sick. This is when Spanky started to pay extra attention to his doggy brother and seemed to be even more gentle around him.
In the meantime, all the family could do for Roman was make sure he was as comfortable as possible. And they kept a constant eye on the dogs with an indoor Ring security camera during the day when no one was home. And what it caught one day was truly heartwarming…
On the footage, they witnessed Spanky dragging his dog bed all the way over to Roman to offer him a place to rest. And the next frame showed the two dogs snuggling on it together. Spanky sure has his brother’s best interests at heart, and he’s the best sibling any dog could ask for!
