He’s not a firefighter yet, but Yusuke Mieno got some practice in on his own time. He was driving down the road when he noticed a cat jump out of the way of a car and down into a roadside canal. This is when he did some quick thinking…
Time was not on their side, so he came up with a very creative way to try and save the kitty… An umbrella!
He tweeted photos of the rescue which quickly went viral all over the internet.
Thanks to some quick thinking and selflessness on Yusuke Mieno’s part, this little kitty lives to see another day. 🙂
