In a video taken in the city of Lima in Peru, a stray dog is seen roaming the streets with an old bucket in his mouth. The homeless pup walks around with it as if he’s begging everyone he meets for some water.
It appears as if one Good Samaritan had already provided the dog with some water in the bucket, and you can see another kind resident pet the pup, but he refuses to let go of his bucket for anyone or anything.
It’s a sad reminder of the struggle so many dogs face all over the world on a daily basis. We don’t have much information on this particular dog nor do we know what his future holds, but it does seem like he has a few people he can count on for necessities in life — more than what some dogs have going for them, sadly.
