Rescuers from Howl Of A Dog spotted a black dog on the side of the road and pulled over to investigate. They weren’t prepared for an end-of-the-day rescue and only had a few treats in the car, but they would have to make do.
The dog was so sweet and wanted to be saved, she was just way too scared. So Tina retreated into the woods. But now away from the traffic and all of the noise, the dog felt more relaxed and was able to trust the rescuers.
She was taken to the vet clinic where she was scanned for a microchip, but none was found. Tina was treated for distemper and any other possible illnesses, but she checked out okay! She just needed to be cleaned and freed of the fleas and ticks. She looked so much better after a bath! 🙂
Tina is around three years old and needs a forever home. She’s in the care of Howl Of A Dog in Romania, but they also facilitate international adoptions.
